Art Galleries and Classes

Breckenridge teems with local and visiting artists – whether in ceramics, metal-smithing or painting. The art district houses several studios where guests meet artists, view and buy custom pieces, and see pieces made from hand. A few include:

  • Robert Whyte House provides temporary space for visiting artists who offer public demonstrations. In addition, the former home also represents the town’s early history as it once housed Breckenridge’s early pioneers in the late 1800s.
  • Visitors can see other demonstrations and learn at Fuqua Livery Stable, Hot Shop and Randall Barn. Quandary Antiques Cabin hosts art classes and hands-on activities for children of all ages, including toddlers to tweens.
  • Another must-see on the list, Old Masonic Hall has two levels of exhibits and activities. On the top floor, try a healing art, dance or yoga class. Downstairs find workshops for all ages, including graphic arts, writing and rotating art exhibits.
