The Annual Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament occurs in the spring and fall. The event begins before sunrise and lasts until early afternoon. Participants will find over 5,000 trout in the water, and families are welcome to register and fish together. In order to join, all guests must register for the event.

Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament offers cash prizes, drawings and other perks, such as $250 to $500 for the smallest and largest trouts, gift certificates, trophies and amusement passes. In order to qualify, participants must be present during weigh-ins, which occurs on the second day.
