Pigeon Forge Rod Run

This hot rod show displays hundreds of pristine hot rods from all over the U.S. Car enthusiasts love exploring vendors and cars, and there’s a cash giveaway, as well as door prizes and live music. Set for the spring and fall, this is a classic event the whole family will enjoy. Prizes include top 25 awards and five ultimate awards. Visitors can enter in the King of the Hill judged contest, with thousands of dollars awarded.

Shades of the Past

One of the most popular car shows in Pigeon Forge, Shades of the Past features hundreds of classic hot rods. Each fall, cars from decades past take visitors back to an earlier era. In the event area, there is no alcohol served, and oldies play in the background. Some contest categories include: best street cruiser, best street rod and best street machine.

Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

Another main event is Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge, which caters to Pontiac lovers. The event, held annually in June, features popular Pontiacs such as the Bonneville, Firebird and GTO. Stock and modified cars are displayed, and contests include Best in Show for both. The three-day event also hosts a cookout and Saturday night cruise, making it a great activity for families and all ages.

Corvette Expo

Listen to Corvettes rev their engines at the Corvette Expo held in Sevierville, only a short drive from Pigeon Forge. Events include an auction, corvette cruise, live music, swap meet, park and show, and judged contest. Hundreds of cars are showcased indoors and out, and this show runs in the spring and fall. The Horsepower and Hot Rods contest offers prizes in categories such as early, mid and late Corvettes and Chevys, as well as Street Rod Race Mod, to name a few.
