Each year, Panama City Beach hosts a red, white and blue extravaganza with a full week of Fourth of July events. Offering five nights of fireworks, Panama City Beach presents visitors with spectacular views to experience magical displays from different locations — ranging from resorts to waterfront restaurants. Below is a list of special events, contests and activities sure to keep guests entertained:

Light up the Bay Fireworks and Events

Visitors can head to Sheraton Golf Resort and Spa for a day of fun activities ranging from an aerialist show to a ukulele orchestra performance. Guests compete in sandcastle competitions, dive in for a movie by the pool, or play a round of golf. To top it all off, a fireworks show takes place with stunning views from the resort’s private beach.

Freedom Rocks! Fireworks: July 3

Stop by Grand Lagoon for a beautiful day of shopping, live music and dining at Freedom Rocks before grabbing a prime spot for the fireworks show. Firework lovers shouldn’t miss the display above Grand Lagoon Bridge, best enjoyed with chairs and blankets on the grassy lawn at Treasure Island Marina. The show begins at 9 p.m. A choreographed music simulcast will be available on the Kick’n 103.5 app

Veterans Memorial Ceremony: July 4

Panama City Beach and Aaron Bessant Park host a Veterans Memorial Ceremony on July 4 to honor those who have served in the armed forces. Families, friends and loved ones are invited to come together to salute our county’s heroes on the most patriotic day of the year.

Star Spangled Spectacular: July 4

Panama City Beach also hosts the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast on July 4 at 9 p.m. The show features dueling fireworks from the City (Russell-Fields) and County (M.B. Miller) Piers. Guests are invited to set up beach chairs and encouraged to arrive early to get the best views.  The synchronized simulcast will also be available on the Kick’n 103.5 app.

Summer Concert Series: Real.Fun.Fourth. Celebration: July 5

As a part of Panama City Beach’s Summer Concert Series, a free concert will be held on July 5 at Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater. Guests are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy country tunes from Tobacco Road followed by a fireworks display. Coolers, food and pets are welcome.

Beach Bash and Light Up the Gulf Fireworks Show: July 6

The annual Beach Bash at Boardwalk Beach Resort ranks as a favorite for all ages. Throughout the holiday week, families soak up sunshine, savor delicious seafood, and jam to live music before Light Up the Gulf, Panama City Beach’s largest private fireworks show. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.
