Panama City Beach Date Ideas: 5 Local Picks for Couples
Growing up in Panama City was an experience I will never forget. Although I currently live in Gainesville, I often go back and take the opportunity to enjoy a lovely date night with husband. Luckily the grandparents always offer to keep our kids, so we can have a fun night out! Who would pass up a wonderful Panama City Beach date night?
Our most recent date was probably my all-time favorite. My husband planned the perfect evening. We started out having an afternoon together at Serenity Spa at Bay Point. This spa is one you do not want to skip when you’re in town. The staff was friendly, and the couples massage was to die for.
After our massage, we went on a pontoon boat ride to Shell Island. We loved walking hand-in-hand on the beach and spending time in the gorgeous setting. After Shell Island, we were ready for dinner. Our favorite place for dinner is the famous Captain Anderson’s Restaurant. We enjoyed sitting by the window, looking at the boats and enjoying our cocktails and dinner. I recommend Grilled Bay Shrimp for an appetizer.
My favorite part of any date is dessert! My husband kept surprising me, so we headed to Firefly. The creme brulee and chocolate martini were mouthwatering. Just when I thought we were heading home, we visited Pier Park to shop and play games at Dave and Busters.
This was truly a date I will never forget. Make sure when you spend one-on-one time with your significant other you try some of these places! I promise you, you won’t regret it.
