“I chose to open an iTrip franchise in Cape Cod because it is where I live and love,” said Silva. “It is where I raised my children, and it’s where I set my roots. I see great potential in Cape Cod and strongly believe it has the capacity to become one of the most frequented and well-known places in the U.S. As a vacation rental manager, I am here to make history by expanding our Cape to the highest places.”

The iTrip’s management program in Outer Cape Cod includes care by a local manager, strategic ways to increase exposure and revenue, and partnerships with the world’s largest distribution channels, such as Airbnb and Vrbo. Service areas include Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Truro, Wellfleet and Provincetown.

“What differentiates us from all the other vacation rental companies on Cape Cod is our all-in-one program where customers can choose from different types of services without the hassle of hiring various companies for each job,” said Silva. “We are locally owned and operated, so no calling an 800 number. Instead, customers have our cellphone numbers.”

This local care paired with a proven model for managing short-term rentals means rental owners have an opportunity to earn additional income while guests receive the five-star service they expect when booking a vacation home in Cape Cod.

“We have 24/7 emergency services. We always work around our clients’ priorities and look for ways to improve our services. Most importantly, we give rental homeowners their life back by removing unnecessary stress,” explained Silva.

On average, rental owners who list with iTrip Outer Cape Cod see an increase of 25% more revenue the first year versus self-managing. In addition to the full-service program, Silva and her team navigate city and state laws regarding short-term rentals, pay taxes on the owner’s behalf, and screen guests. Silva also oversees the cleaning, inspections, maintenance and guest-facing customer service.

“The most rewarding thing about working in the short-term rental industry is being able to provide a relaxing retreat for so many families,” said Silva. “We also give homeowners their freedom back, which is important because sometimes owners do not know what to do with a house that has remained in their family – a home that maybe they were even raised in. No one should have to let go of those memories and history, so renting the home enables them to keep their family home while providing a vacation home to other families.”
