While exploring Keystone Resort, families with children love Kidtopia. Kids also love playing in the snow where they slide, snow tube and create snow angels.

Golf Courses

While there are several golf courses in Summit County, golfers in Keystone do not have to travel far. The city oversees two 18-hole courses: The River Course and Keystone Ranch. Each were designed by golf legends and offer scenic courses with challenging holes, water features, and mountain views.

The town of Dillon also has one of the top disc golf courses in the area. This 18-hole course offers a mix of up, down, open and narrow shots, as well as some mountain hiking. Due to the course’s hilly elevation, plan in advance with plenty of snacks, water and comfortable apparel.

Frisco Adventure Park

Country Boy Mine

In Breckenridge, located 40 minutes south of Keystone, families will find more adventure at Country Boy Mine. Start with a mine tour for an up-close look at golf mining and pan for gold. Then reserve a spot for extreme sledding, monster truck sleigh rides, and snow-shoe tours. Just don’t leave without meeting the resident miniature donkeys.
