In November 2018, iTrip Vacations® met for three days of learning, training and networking. The event – held annually in the fall – offers all iTrip Vacations® property managers the chance to see new products and features, learn about improving rental owner and guest experience, and hear new ways to generate more bookings and revenue. iTrip Vacations® Receives Elite Partner Award
In August 2018, iTrip Vacations® achieved Elite Partner Status by HomeAway, which recognizes iTrip as a top vacation rental software provider. The Elite Partner status is the highest designation available for vacation rental software companies that integrate with HomeAway.
While the announcement went live in August, HomeAway’s Evangelist, John Suzuki, presented iTrip Vacations®’ founders a beautiful award that signifies the ongoing dedication both companies exemplify every day. In addition, Suzuki shared that iTrip Vacations® has the highest number of Premier Partner property managers in the industry.

New Tools and Features
Successful property managers know rates should be adjusted regularly – sometimes daily. That’s why iTrip Vacations® places a heavy emphasis on rate-management tools that help our franchisees more effectively and efficiently mange rates.
“This year, we moved to a true “daily rates” structure — meaning each day of the week can have a different rate,” says Ashley Nations with iTrip Vacations® Software Support. “We also developed technology to help property managers quickly create a new rate set for last-minute discounts they want to offer. This tool can also be used to increase the price if we notice demand is high and occupancy is increasing.”
With all of this new technology, iTrip Vacations® also wanted to implement some safeguards. They added more flexible tools that make it easier for franchisees to set “minimum rates” that the system will not drop below. This gives rental owners and property managers peace of mind when using these automated rate management tools.
Welcome the 2018 iTrip Vacations® New Destinations
Additionally, the company added 19 new property management companies in the U.S in 2018. The iTrip Vacations® franchise model allows entrepreneurs to build a business in the short-term vacation rental industry in a destination they enjoy. New vacation property management companies opened in California, Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
