Houston Professional Sports: Teams to Cheer, Where to Go
Houston Astros (MLB)
Minute Maid Park hosts the Houston Astros. This baseball team plays from April to October and promises a family-friendly experience.

Once the game begins, fans cheer with Orbit the mascot, head to the kids zone, and eat the signature chicken and waffle cone. The team has two World Series titles and five pennants.
Houston Texans (NFL)
The Houston Texas have drawn big crowds to NRG Stadium during football season. In fact, locals recommend arriving two hours before kick-off to avoid traffic and long lines at the entrance and concession stands.
