Meet the Artists

The Fort Myers American Sand Sculpting Championship ranks among the largest of its kind. For 10 days, some 50,000 people will witness the building, judging and prizes. Artists use more than 1,000 tons of sand to create intricate masterpieces. In between viewing, attend live demonstrations and meet the sculptors as they work. Many sand sculptors enjoy chatting with the audience and explaining their sculpting techniques.

Admission to this U.S. Sand Sculpting competition costs less than $10 per person per day, with children ages 4 and younger free. The event takes place at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Fort Myers Beach.
