Branson Hills Golf Club

Noted as the best golf course in Missouri and 36th in the U.S., Branson Hills Golf Club is a good first stop. The course was designed by Chuck Smith and Bobby Clampet, and has 18 holes with multiple sets of tees.

The local landscape helps this course stand out. While playing, golfers enjoy the Ozark Mountain surroundings, waterfalls, creeks and wildlife that make an appearance. The course is deemed more challenging with elevation changes and sand bunkers, and requires golf carts. Other amenities include a driving range, clubhouse and restaurant.

Pointe Royale Golf Course

Pointe Royale Golf Course offers another top championship option. This course welcomes all skill levels and encourages players to make long drives.

Mature trees, mountain scenery and lush greens provide a scenic backdrop. Visitors are welcome to play a round of 18 or call and book a round of 36. When not on the course, guests can dine at the bar and grill and enjoy the golf village’s amenities.

Holiday Hills Golf Club

Ranked among the best public Branson golf courses for rustic charm and playability, Holiday Hills Golf Club features 18 holes and has been a local gem for more than 70 years.

Today, this challenging course has more than 40 bunkers and multiple water features. Mature trees and rolling greens provide more obstacles, but most players find the course fun and moderate. In addition to the course, Holiday Hills has a restaurant, golf shop and clubhouse.

Big Cedar Lodge Golf Courses

In nearby Hollister, Big Cedar Lodge has become one of the best golf destinations in Missouri. The lodge features five courses, with many designed by professionals and legends.

Two of the most popular courses include Mountain Top and Payne’s Valley. Mountain Top offers a short game of 13 holes designed by Gary Player. The course winds through rock formations and has mountain views. Payne’s Valley, a public course, was designed by Tiger Woods. Designed as a championship option, players will find 19 holes set among large fairways and water features.

Other Big Cedar Lodge courses include Ozarks National, Buffalo Ridge and Top of the Rock. In addition to breathtaking golf courses, guests have access to dining, a spa, practice facilities, water sports and outdoor adventures.

LedgeStone Country Club

Located minutes from downtown Branson, LedgeStone Country Club opens to the public and has membership. Players will find this course challenging, with games lasting about 4.5 hours.

Tom Clark designed the 18-hole course, which features elevation changes, rolling greens, water hazards, large trees and mountain views. Visitors also have access to practice facilities, a pro shop and restaurant.

Other Golf Options in Branson

In addition to these Branson golf courses, the area has several mini-golf options. Each offer their own characteristics and charm, while helping players work on their short game. For something more low-key, players can simply enjoy a friendly game with loved ones.

For example, Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf helps families plan a pirate adventure. Two 18-hole courses, waterfalls, a pirate ship and lore make this a must-play. Guests may play one or both courses.

Coral Reef Mini Golf is an indoor mini-golf course. Its underwater and beachy themes welcome players, rain or shine, to play 18 holes year-round.

Branson also has two disc-golf courses. Sunset Park has nine baskets, a par 54, located on mostly level terrain. The Treehouz course at Branson Cedar Resort features 19 holes and has moderate elevation changes and wooded areas.
