During World Whale Day, kids should check out Keiki Carnival where they play in bouncy castles, make crafts and have their faces painted. Those looking for unique items and souvenirs enjoy Madeon Maui Artisan Fair and an online charity auction that supports Pacific Whale Foundation. Admission costs around $5 per person older than 12, and new activities are added each year, so this is a must for families vacationing in Maui.
Maui Agriculture Fest
For more than 10 years, Maui Agriculture Festival has showcased fresh foods and educated visitors about the important of agriculture in the area. The festival takes place at the War Memorial Complex and admission is free.
Event highlights include a large farmers market, food vendors, kids zone and live entertainment. Visitors may also purchase special event tickets to the Grand Taste and Legacy Farmers Breakfast, both of which showcase local flavors prepared by farmers and chefs. In addition, attendees learn about eco-friendly food practices, animal care, healthy cooking habits and Hawaiian culture.
Kapalua Wine and Food Festival
One of the longest-running food and wine festivals in the U.S., Kapalua Wine and Food Festival combines Hawaiian foods and wines. This signature Maui festival brings vendors from all over the world to showcase their products to both locals and guests.
In addition to rich flavors, visitors will find cooking demonstrations, a golf tournament, tennis clinic, tastings and tours, and the famous seafood festival. Kapalua Wine and Food Festival occurs in June. Additionally, attendance is limited to 3,500 guests per day to maintain quality and comfortably.
Maui Film Festival, Maui
