Best of 30A Restaurants: Stinky’s Fish Camp
With such a bold name, you know it has to be good.
Seriously though, don’t let the name scare you. This seafood and wine bar focuses on classic dishes in a fun, comfortable environment. Two locations on the Emerald Coast feature an oyster bar, full lunch and dinner menus, and Sunday bunch.
What’s on the Menu At Stinky’s?
Menu favorites include oysters (as its known for), hush puppies, fried crab cakes and spiced boiled snow crab legs. Stinky’s also has a fresh fish of the day. Along with great seafood, this hot spot has a long wine list as well. Frequent customers say it’s usually packed, so allot some time to wait, which will be worth it.

Enjoy The View
Praised by Florida Travel + Life Magazine and Destin Magazine readers, Vue offers guests panoramic views of the Gulf, where dolphins play and fishing boats head home. This restaurant serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, with a full wine list.
What Should You Order?
For lunch, try the flying Frenchman, a sandwich using Boars Head turkey, or ask for the catch of the day. Dinner selections range from lobster trilogy and rack of lamb to grilled watermelon salad. Candle-lit tables in an elegant setting will help create the perfect evening-out atmosphere.

723 Whiskey Bravo serves lunch and dinner in a cool, casual atmosphere. With five different menus, this restaurant and bar features favorites such as gulf shrimp and grits, fried seafood combo, and the BBQ Atlantic salmon. Lighter lunch options include sandwiches, salads and wraps.

On weekdays, a selection of five entrees are only $15, and happy hour occurs daily from 6 to 7 p.m. Many visitors say this is a must on 30A, and they enjoy watching sunsets while dining outside.

Taste The Mexican Flavor
La Cocina, a Mexican grill and bar, is open for lunch and dinner. Create your own lunch with various enchiladas and tacos, or order a favorite such as steak bocadillo or the laco burger. For dinner, try Lulu’s favorite or the La Cocina’s especial, featuring flat-iron steak and yucca fries.

This cafe and wine bar blends Southern foods with an international twist, and uses fresh produce and seafood from local sources. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Great Southern Cafe‘s menu is available all day. Start with a Southern Benedict for breakfast.
Oh Yeah, the Shrimp and Grits
For lunch, try the grits à ya ya, with shrimp and portabello mushrooms, or the ginger chicken. The meat-and-three and fish of the day are top dinner options. Aside from entrees, there’s a large selection of sandwiches, salads, and try a glass of wine to complement the meal.
