Clearwater, Florida: How to Enjoy Fun in the Sun

Clearwater is an ideal resort town for anyone looking for relaxing fun in the sun, but visitors find more than just beaches. Pier 60, located in the middle of Clearwater, serves as an impromptu stage for a host of outdoor activities and live bands throughout the year. Additionally, Pier 60 serves as one of the top places to take watch a Florida sunset. Pier 60 also offers some of the best fishing in the area. Other fun things to do in Clearwater include trying fresh seafood, browsing shops, and having easy access to hiking, biking and skating trails.

Sports are also a big deal in Clearwater. Beginning in mid-February, Clearwater serves as the spring training home to the MLB Philadelphia Phillies.
