Build An Awesome Sandcastle
Learn the secrets to cool sandcastles with Sandcastle Lessons, a favorite thing to do and a top-rated TripAdvisor activity. In only two hours, learn how to make a professional sandcastle, which will measure about 3 1/2 feet tall.
Look for the mobile unit.
On 30A, visitors will find a mobile unit that provides all the equipment and tools needed to make a sandcastle. The lesson begins with learning the basics, then gaining the skills to build a bigger castle. Once completed, a picture-ready castle awaits. The group asks visitors to prepare for a day in the sun by bringing beach clothes, towels, sunscreen, snacks and cash for tips.

Fishing in Florida is one of the best ways to bond and spend a day on the water. Join local Captain Hunter Ray on a guided flat fishing boat adventure. Another great fishing option, Not A Dog Charters offers sport fishing adventures for all ages. The Not A Dog is Captain Kerry Jones boat’s name, and families can fish for red snapper, trigger fish or king mackerel.
Keep Your Catch!
This charter allows guests to keep their catches as well. Don’t worry about bringing the equipment because Not A Dog provides it and a cooler with ice. When heading out, wear proper attire, sunscreen, and bring lunch and drinks. The weather can vary from 40 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the season, so dress appropriately.

Take An Adventure
Those who have always dreamed of surfing should check out 30A Adventures. The three-hour surf camps open daily for children ages 6 and up at two locations. These camps get kids into the water and provide hours of excitement and fun.
What to Expect
Boards are provided, however participants must know how to swim and should bring a towel, sunscreen and water. Other tours include kayaking, swimboard and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) lessons – all great for the whole family.

Pick the Perfect Water Adventure
Yolo offers a board for any activity: fishing, racing, surfing, fitness and inflatables. Certain locations also offer classes on boards, such as yoga and core fitness. To rent a board, visitors can either have them shipped or pick them up at a retail location. Bikes and gear are also available for purchase or rent.
